Dans un entretien accordé cette semaine à nos confrères de la radio ‘’

BBC Afrique’’, le sélectionneur guinéen, Paul Put a déclaré depuis le Caire ceci ; «j’espère que Naby Keita sera de retour pour rejoindre la sélection. Il a été appelé par le personnel médical de Liverpool. Il m’a écrit qu’il devait passer un autre examen médical à Liverpool et qu’ils prendraient une décision par la suite; j’espère que cette décision sera positive ».

L’entraineur belge a aussi dit que « nous devons savoir s’il est apte

mentalement, car si vous n’êtes pas prêt et que vous avez peur de vous blesser, cela ne met aucun joueur à l’aise. Je vais donc voir maintenant la réaction de l’équipe de Liverpool et quel est le sentiment de Naby Keita lui-même ».

Selon le sélectionneur du Syli National, «« la blessure est toujours dans la tête d’un joueur et si tu sens quelque chose que tu n’es pas à 100%, cela n’a donc aucun intérêt de jouer, en particulier ».

A rappeler que l’équipe guinéenne s’affrontera pour les huitièmes de finales de la 32^ème édition de la CAN Egypte 2019 à l’Algérie ce dimanche , 07 juillet prochain.
