Lutte contre les violences faites aux femmes : le CJFL élargit la campagne de sensibilisation au secteur du sport.


Le Club des Jeunes Filles Leaders (CJFL) de Guinée a organisé une conférence de presse ce mardi 28 novembre sur le thème « tous unis, investir pour prévenir la violence à l’égard des femmes et des filles ».

Cette conférence qui a connu la présence du représentant de la Fédération Guinéenne de Basket Ball, le représentant de l’Ambassade de France en Guinée et celui de l’Ambassade d’Allemagne s’est tenue en prélude de l’organisation d’un tournoi de Basket Ball féminin dans le cadre de la campagne annuelle internationale de « seize (16) jours d’activisme contre la violence basée sur le genre à l’égard des filles et femmes qui a pour slogan STOP VBG ».

Selon les organisatrices, la rencontre se déroule le mercredi 29 novembre au palais des sports du stade du 28 septembre. D’après elles, ce tournoi connaîtra la participation de quatre (4) équipes féminines (16/20 ans).

En marge de cette conférence, la principale conférencière est revenu sur certaines statistiques de la mutilation génitale, le mariage precauce et celles des cas de viol enregistrés pendant l’année précédente.

« Selon l’EDS (enquête démocratique sur la santé 1018), le taux de la mutilation génitale féminine en Guinée est de 95% et 46% pour les mariages precauce. Par contre, 270 cas de viol ont été enregistrés en 2022 par l’Office de protection de genre et mœurs (OPROGEM) », a rappelé Oumou Hawa Diallo, membre du club des jeunes filles leaders (CJFL).
